I was inspired by sushi and geishas, sushi is one of my favorite foods, so when I heard I was going to design a cover for Atlanta Magazine, the first thing I thought of was the recently concluded Japan Festival. For this poster, I combined sushi with traditional geisha hair accessories and then combined it with bright colors to achieve a contrasting effect of old and new.
